I’m Miss Ashley, a feminist advocate, solo traveler, storyteller, and unapologetic strategist turning voice into value across Africa and beyond.

Since 2011, I’ve led campaigns that don’t just raise awareness, they move mountains. From fighting gender-based violence and FGM to tackling maternal health disparities and economic exclusion, I’ve partnered with NGOs, grassroots movements, and governments to push policies and shift culture. Over 500 activists and organizations have trained under my campaign strategies, because good intentions need great execution.
They call it advocacy. I call it the thing where I save the world.
As an African woman, I’ve seen inequality’s impact firsthand. That’s why I don’t just talk gender justice, I build it, amplify it, and dare systems to catch up.
When I’m not knee-deep in Google Docs and dismantling patriarchy, I’m somewhere on the continent with a backpack and a phone. Through She Roams Africa, I’ve explored 10+ countries, sharing what it means to travel, and live, through a woman’s lens. My stories challenge stereotypes, celebrate resilience, and champion safe solo travel for African women.
I also run The Book Swag, where I review stories that provoke and empower. Books were my rebellion before I had a mic. Now I use both.
I founded InfluenceHER to give Gen Z women a space to debate, question, and organize, from climate justice to cultural identity. Through HERspective, I write what most people are afraid to say about gender, power, and what’s next.
Through Voice to Value, I consult with NGOs, manage digital talent, and help brands and influencers use their platform with purpose. I’ve worked with 50+ clients to transform storytelling into strategic, measurable impact.
This is the work that keeps me moving: building platforms, changing narratives, and making women’s voices so loud they can’t be ignored.
Because I believe every woman has a voice worth hearing. I just make sure the world listens.
